Jack couldn't wait. It was the night he was going to ask Sally to be his girlfriend. He couldn't stop thinking about her. Her silky red hair, her stitched up skin, her bright eyes, her stunning smile. "How perfect she is" Jack said with love filling his heart. It's been happening to him for the past 13 weeks. He put his best suit on, grabed Sally's gift, and headed out the door, skipping with happiness.
Sally didn't want it to be tonight. She wished she had stayed in bed. She slowly slipped on her new black dress and thigh-high socks. She felt so sad. "Jack won't find out" Sally said to her black cat. "He won't even think about it, he'll never find out." She sat on her bed and cried. She wished she was sick. She looked at her clock. 10:25. She walked outside to the spiral hill where she would meet Jack. Help, she said to herself.
