What if Jack started out as a poor boy in Halloween Town, working his way up to the top? And what if Sally also had a childhood, starting as an actual child? A rags to riches story of how Jack became the Pumpkin King, and how Jack and Sally really met for the first time.
The small, rundown cottage by the Pumpkin Patch wasn't bustling with life, as usual. No, it was a quiet night for the Skellington family. Not that they had been a family very long. Irene Skellington smiled down at her newborn son Jack, who seemed to be the spitting image of his skeleton father, which was a fair acheivement seeing as he was a reality as of only a few hours before. The corpse, now feeling very mellow and relaxed, kissed little Jack on the forhead as he opened his mouth wide to yawn. The ragged blankets draped around his frail bones seemed to make him very comfortable, so Irene decided that it would now be a good time to let him get aqauinted with his father, William.
William was a hard worker, and was now sitting by their fireplace with Jack now in his arms. He smiled at his now sleeping wife, and thought about the years ahead, now that they had a child to look after. He sighed sadly. They barely could look after himselves since they moved out of the Hinterlands a year ago. At least things were better here then in the Hinterlands, where the was nobody for miles, and barely any food. He stood up carefully, and put Jack in the rough cot that he had made himself recently. He walked out of the house, locking the door behind him, putting the key in his pocket. He walked amongst the graves, and stared up at Spiral Hill.
Spiral Hill looked inviting tonight. Maybe nobody would catch him like last time. He walked up the hill tiredly, and stood up on it's crest. Remembering a tune, he begun to sing.
"Bye, bye Miss American Pie
Drove my chevy to the levy but the levy was dry
And them good old boys were drinking whiskey and rye
Singing this will be the day that I die
Singing this will be the day that I die.."
It was an old song that he remembered from his days as a young man, in the Real World, as they called it. He had died in a car crash with Irene, who was his fincee at the time. The stupid drunken driver had rammed them down a hill, where they fell in the river and drowned. They had both awoken in the Hinterlands, Irene being a corpse, looking almost no different than before the crash, except for some deep gashes here and there, and himself, a skeleton. He remembered the horrible confusion through their transition to the Hinterlands, and chuckled. Singing the tune again to himself, he walked down the unfurling hill and down to a nearby river. He splashed his skeleton face with water, draining out his eye sockets, and walked back into his house to go to sleep for the night. What nobody was aware of, however, was that Jack was not the only 'newborn' in Halloween Town.
Doctor Finklestein's lab, just a short walk away from the Town Square of Halloween town, was glowing.
(Beezy: Yes, actually glowing. If you were on the way to his house and even touched his front gate, your hair would automatically would stand on end, stiff as a post. Touch his front door on the outside and you would probably be electrocuted. If you--
Jack: Why don't you just get on with the freaking story? Beezy: Sorry folks, Jack's miffed that I'm telling his life story. Anyway..)
The Doctor was, in fact, in the middle of what would possibly be the best experiment he ever made. He was actually making a new born child. One that would grow up as he added new body parts, and hormones, and the nessecary things as she grew. Igor would look after her while she could not do anything for herself, of course. But he would teach her how to cook, clean, and partake in experiments. The goal was she would marry him when she grew old enough, if she was a complete success. He gazed in awe and triumph at his new creation being zapped to life. The small baby girl, wrapped in bandages except for around her eyes and mouth so she could breathe, blinked. Her large eyes darted around curiously, which was quite unusual for his experiments. He cackled and turned away, wheeling to the window. He threw up his arms and yelled:
'IT IS ALIVE!'
He turned back to face the girl. He wheeled towards her, picking up her clothes as he went. He unwrapped the bandages, and dressed her, taking great care as to not unravel her stitches, and then put her in his lap. He then pulled a lever so he could move around more easily, and wheeled up to the attic. The room had no furniture except a desk, a cot, and a bed, for Igor to sleep in while he was looking after the child. He placed her in the cot and smiled, though it looked more like a sneer since he baisically never really smiled. He wheeled to his door.
"Goodnight, Sally. Igor will be with you shortly." But Sally was already asleep.

Beezy: So, that was the first chapter of their life stories.
Jack: Why couldn't you do an Oogie Boogie one or something?
Sally: Yeah! I don't want to go around knowing that somebody I came to know only about , oh, a MONTH ago is writing my LIFE story!
Beezy: Well. Fine. Here it is. Oogie Boogie was sewn up and worshipped by three very bored children a few years before TNBC happened. They fed him only bugs for 5 years until TNBC DID happen, when he tried killing Sandy-Santa, and Sally, but then Jack came in and Killed him. Then he avenged himself after Lock Shock and Barrel brought him back to life (Oogies Revenge game) and then he died again, and then whatever happen in Kingdom hearts happened and he died AGAIN about twice after that. Maybe three times, I dunno.
Jack: ...Well. You're a bit off there, but nice try.
Beezy: WHAT?
Sally: Jack, I think you should start running away now.
Beezy: *twitch* That's all... for.. now...
Jack:
