"Sally, you probably need to rest...you just fainted."
"No, I'm fine. I have to go," Sally said.
"Sally-" the doctor started to say.
"I'm fine! I just...I need to go!" Don't they see how important this is?

They sat down in the living room, Sally biting her lip.
"Jack, I didn't mean-"
"It's okay, Sally. It's not your fault." He smiled reassuringly at her, just happy to have her back.
"How can you say that? I came in here and said those...things and then just left you! Aren't you angry at me?"
"Sally," Jack said, crossing the room to sit beside her. "I could never be angry at you, particulary when you had no choice over the matter." He took her hands. "Everything's fine now."
"How can you forgive me so quickly?" she murmured softly.
Jack touched her cheek gently. "Because I love you, and nothing will change that."
