A TNBC/CB crossover. This story is based on a really strange dream I had. It is not related whatsoever to my other fanfics; it's just for fun. It began in the land of the dead...
It began in the land of the dead. Victor had recently found himself married. He wasn’t exactly happy about it though; sure, Emily seemed nice but all these dead people were freaking him out. Finally he could run from her no longer and was forced to at least talk with her. As they talked a plan to get back to the land of the living sprang in his mind. You know what is happening. You know this moment very well. But this time something different happens. When Victor mentions his parents are still alive, Emily gets her own idea. He should meet her family.
Emily starts dragging Victor towards where she says her family “lives”, Scraps following them happily. Victor doesn’t know what to expect from this turn of events and now more than ever is afraid he'll never see his love again. He doesn’t really care about meeting her family. And things get even stranger. She leads him deep into the land of the dead, so deep that the buildings slowly disappear and are replaced by dead petrified trees. Victor can’t believe what he is seeing; things here just kept getting stranger and stranger in this place. He followed Emily into a circle of trees with strange doors attached to them. She stopped in front of a particularly strange looking one and opens it. Before he even knows it’s happening Emily grabs his wrist and pulls him with her as she jumps through the portal.
When Victor opened his eyes he became aware that he was surrounded by pumpkins. His head hurt; he’d hit the ground fairly hard. Emily on the other hand had landed almost gracefully. She picked up her husband and dragged him through town. Victor did not like this place, it was dark and he could swear eyes were following him, though when he looked around he couldn’t see anyone. He almost wished he was back in the land of the dead. She stopped in front of the gate of a particularly scary looking home. She pushed it open and they climbed up the stairs to the front door; Emily rang the bell and Victor jumped at the screaming sound. By this point he was tempted to run away again but he had idea where he was or how to get back so he was forced to stay. Emily seemed completely oblivious to his discomfort and was very excited for her brother to meet her new husband. After a few second the door opened and Victor took a step back.
Jack had no idea who it could be that would be ringing his door bell but was more than happy to see his sister. He hadn’t seen her this happy since before she died, and he soon found out why. Emily introduced him to a frightened looking man who looked like he might faint at any moment. He invited them both in.
The eyes Victor had felt watching had seen what just happened. They whispered amongst them selves .
???: Who do you think that is?
???2: I don’t know. He looks…human.
???3: A human?
???2: What else could he be?
??? : His sister really is desperate if she’s married a human.
???3: Should we tell the boss?
???2: Well if she really is married him that would make him Jack’s brother in law. The boss would want to know that.
???: Come on, I feeling this is going to be a lot of fun….
